Microsoft has deprecated Incoming Webhooks for Microsoft Teams.
To continue receiving Poly Lens notifications in Microsoft Teams channels, administrators must manually create a Power Automate workflow and update the Teams notification configuration in Poly Lens with the generated HTTP endpoint.
This change ensures continued compatibility with Microsoft Teams and aligns with Microsoft’s supported automation and security model going forward.

If you have not done so already, we recommend beginning your adoption of the HP Poly Studio App. The future of the Poly Lens platform is here today with our recently released suite of HP Poly Studio Apps, and all future improvements to our Desktop, Mobile, and Room apps will happen within these apps. To read our full announcement for this launch, please visit Announcing the New HP Poly Studio App. The most important takeaway is that we have retained all existing functionality from the prior Poly Lens suite of apps, allowing for full continuity in your organization.

For the Poly Studio Desktop app, we plan to mark our next release as the latest release version in Poly Lens. This means that organizations with “use latest” policies for Desktop App version will automatically move to the latest version of Poly Studio Desktop at that time. For this reason, we recommend testing out the latest version of the Poly Studio Desktop app now (5.0.1), to become more familiar and comfortable with it in advance.

The Poly Studio Desktop app includes many new, exciting features that build upon our existing device management functionality. The app now supports HP Docks, Displays, and AI PCs, and includes a refreshed inventory view for this wide array of devices. Additionally, the app includes redesigned wellbeing reminders, light and dark modes, and a new calendar integration for one click meeting joins with Teams and Zoom for Windows accounts.

Note that the calendar feature requires enabling read access to your Microsoft O365 account. If your environment has additional security policies that require administrator approval first, you can refer to the HP Poly Studio Calendar Integration article to enable this feature organization-wide for a simplified rollout.

We look forward to further enhancing our HP Poly Studio apps in the near future, and thank you for your engagement as we continue to improve the experiences we provide for both IT Administrators and end users. Additionally, we welcome any feedback you have regarding our apps and cloud platform. Feedback can be submitted through our in-app feedback forms.

Today marks a significant milestone for Poly Lens and HP Workforce Experience platform. The Poly Lens Add-on is now available in WXP and with it, we're opening a new phase in how you connect, navigate, and manage collaboration devices across the HP software ecosystem. This release serves as the foundation for the ongoing development of the Poly Lens Add‑on experience within WXP.

If you caught our recent update, One small step toward a single pane of glass WXP…, you already know where we're headed. This release takes the next step by introducing a solution that ranges from secure tenant connectivity to efficient cross-platform navigation, all specifically designed to minimize obstacles and enhance the quality of device management.

What’s New in WXP

The Poly Lens Add‑on enables organizations to connect a WXP tenant to a Poly Lens Cloud tenant. Once connected, WXP IT administrators can open Poly Lens Cloud via a click‑through workflow and continue managing collaboration devices and rooms as they do today by deploying, monitoring, maintaining, and measuring these devices without missing a beat.

This release is intentionally focused on the essentials:

Secure tenant‑level authorization between WXP and Poly Lens Cloud.

Seamless cross‑platform navigation, with Poly Lens opening in a new browser tab without the need to sign in again.

A strong foundation for future Poly Lens Add‑on enhancements in WXP.

You shouldn't have to search through several tools to find workflows for collaboration devices, rooms, and endpoints. This release helps reduce that fragmentation by enabling a governed, tenant‑level link between WXP and Poly Lens Cloud so you can move between platforms with fewer steps and clearer ownership.

Functionality available to you today:

A cleaner path to device and room management: WXP is where you enable and manage the Poly Lens tenant connection, while device and room management continues in Poly Lens Cloud.

Role‑based access aligned to WXP governance: Access and permissions follow WXP roles mapped into Poly Lens Cloud.

Greater clarity at the tenant level: Only one Poly Lens tenant can be linked to a WXP tenant at a time.

To make it easier to validate and audit tenant connections especially in multi-tenant environments this release also surfaces additional WXP connection metadata directly in Poly Lens Cloud > Integrations > HP Workforce Experience.

These solutions offer a streamlined form factor, powerful video conferencing technology, and usability with familiar partner apps, such as Zoom. Since releasing our first-generation video conferencing devices running Poly VideoOS, we have been focused on continuous advancements in audio and video innovation while delivering solutions that drive better meeting experiences today and long into the future. Much of this longevity is based on the underlying Android operating system and our commitment to long term device certifications and supportability.

Zoom Re-Certification

Poly partnered with Zoom for the initial launch of their Zoom Rooms on Android app at Zoomtopia in 2019. Since then, we’ve expanded to a complete portfolio of Zoom-certified devices that cover all the hybrid worker’s needs, including Android-based video bars and modular solution for rooms of all sizes, Windows compute, USB video bars, scheduling panels, IP phones, headsets, and more.

To continue this legacy partnership, we are excited to announce that Poly Studio X32, Studio X52 and Studio X72 all-in-one video bars, and Poly Studio G62 modular video conferencing solution, are now re-certified for Zoom Rooms running Android 13. We have also re-certified the Poly TC10 for Zoom Rooms controller and Zoom Room Scheduling panel running Android 12. These milestones ensure long-term compatibility and support for Zoom, giving customers confidence in their meeting room investments for years to come.

Android Platform Updates

This upgrade to Android 13 will be delivered along with a comprehensive architectural overhaul in Poly VideoOS 5.0, scheduled for release to customers in early 2026. But it’s much more than an Android version upgrade – this new version of Poly VideoOS is designed to deliver future innovations and extended lifecycle support.

This foundation will unlock new innovative experiences coming in 2026 and beyond. It also ensures these devices will deliver transformational hybrid working experiences long into the future as we plan to deliver Android 17 on Poly Studio X32, Studio X52, Studio X72, and Studio G62 in 2028.

The way we collaborate is evolving—and so are the tools that make it possible. With the launch of the new HP Poly Studio suite of apps, we have streamlined our experience to help you manage app deployments and updates with confidence. Whether you’re an IT Admin or an IT Decision Maker, these updates are designed to give you more control and flexibility.

What’s New on the App Deployment Page?

You can still access the App Deployment page by navigating to:
Account > Account Settings > App Deployment

Once there, you will notice a refreshed, user-friendly design. Each app now has its own dedicated page, making it easier to view all available distribution methods. You can even download the app directly from these pages.

Additionally, Client Token creation and storage for loginless access is now located on each application page that supports this feature. More details and documentation can be found on the App Deployment Overview page.

Manual Upgrade Required for Now

To give you full control over deployment, Poly Studio Desktop will not automatically upgrade to the new HP Poly Studio versions at this time—even if your organization has an auto-update policy in place.

When you’re ready to upgrade, you can do so manually within your Poly Lens Cloud Account. This ensures you have flexibility and control during the transition.

Poly Lens will resume its normal auto-update functionality in the future for organizations with the appropriate policy enabled. In the meantime, we encourage you to test the new HP Poly Studio apps as soon as possible to experience the latest improvements.

We are excited about the continued updates and improvements to both Poly Lens and HP Poly Studio.
Why We’ve Made these Changes

Our existing Poly Lens platform with our powerful cloud portal serves a critical role in enabling effective hybrid work experiences within modern enterprises. IT Administrators and Device Managers have the ability to seamlessly configure, deploy, monitor, and manage end user devices across their organizations, while end users have optional control over their devices and individual experiences as they transition between different work environments.

Poly Lens Cloud for IT Admins and ITDMs to further increase control and ease of management, we also aim to serve the needs of end users for our Desktop, Mobile, and Room apps. With our HP Poly Studio rebrand and redesign, our goal is to provide an even more engaging and compelling end user experience that allows individuals to take their device management to the next level through the workday, helping drive the overall success of hybrid work in organizations. From here, we plan to add incremental enhancements over time to the end user experiences in these apps to increase the value to both end users and IT Admins & ITDMs as a uniquely differentiated platform.

How this Affects your Organization

Providing IT Admins and ITDMs ultimate control remains a top priority for us, and for this reason, the Poly Studio Desktop app will not automatically upgrade to the new HP Poly Studio version. This includes organizations with a policy to auto-update to the latest software version for Desktop. Therefore, to upgrade your organization to the new HP Poly Studio apps, you can manually do so within your Poly Lens Cloud Account, when you feel ready. For deploying our Poly Studio Desktop app to HP ARM-based AI PCs, we now have a new upgrade path starting from 5.0 for deployment to these devices, that is separate from our existing Windows x64 upgrade path. Windows x64 and Mac upgrade paths will remain unchanged, with the exception of those upgrading from Poly Lens Desktop 1.x version, which requires a stepped upgrade to version 2.3.1, then on to Poly Studio Desktop version 5.0.

For Poly Lens Mobile app, since it is not controlled or managed through the Poly Lens Cloud, end users will have control over when they upgrade to the new HP Poly Studio Mobile app.

Again, we are thrilled to announce this update in our suite of apps, and encourage you to try them within your organization soon!

Since releasing our first-generation video conferencing devices running Poly VideoOS, we have been focused on continuous advancements in audio and video innovation while delivering solutions that drive better meeting experiences today and long into the future.
For more than two decades, HP Poly has partnered with Microsoft to deliver exceptional collaboration experiences to our shared customers, leading the charge in obtaining Teams certification on all-in-one solutions for small, medium, and large meeting spaces. Our best-in-class hardware, combined with Microsoft Teams, creates seamless and powerful communication solutions.

To continue this legacy partnership, we are excited to announce that Poly Studio X32, Studio X52 and Studio X72 all-in-one video bars, and Poly Studio G62 modular video conferencing solution, are now re-certified for Microsoft Teams Rooms running Android 13.
This upgrade to Android 13 will be delivered along with a comprehensive architectural overhaul in Poly VideoOS 5.0, scheduled for release to customers in early 2026.
We're excited to announce the addition of Azure IoT Hubs 5 and 6, which will go live on February 8th, 2026.

To support continued growth and maintain service quality, we're adding IoT Hubs 5 and 6 to our infrastructure.

In today’s hybrid workplace, the ability to deliver engaging, inclusive, and seamless presentations is more critical than ever. For enterprise knowledge workers, Microsoft® PowerPoint® Live offers a transformative way to present content—combining the familiar power of PowerPoint with the collaborative capabilities of Microsoft® Teams. Whether you're enhancing how you connect, communicate, and collaborate.

Reimagining Remote and Hybrid Presentations

Traditional screen sharing often limits interaction and visibility. Microsoft® PowerPoint® Live changes the game by embedding your presentation directly into the Teams meeting experience. Presenters can maintain full control of their slides while staying visually connected with their audience—seeing video feeds, raised hands, chat, and reactions all in one unified view.

This integrated experience allows presenters to “read the room” even in virtual settings, making it easier to adapt in real time and keep participants engaged.

1. Real-Time Collaboration and Control
Microsoft® PowerPoint® Live enables multiple presenters to seamlessly take control of the presentation without awkward transitions. Co-presenters can jump in, navigate slides, and access speaker notes—all without disrupting the flow.

2. Enhanced Audience Engagement
Attendees can interact with the presentation by navigating back to previous slides, clicking hyperlinks, or watching embedded videos at their own pace. Live reactions keep the session dynamic and inclusive.

3. Personalized Viewing Experience

Each participant can tailor their experience—translating slides into one of 19 languages, switching to high-contrast mode, or using screen readers for accessibility. These features ensure that everyone, regardless of language or ability, can follow along comfortably.

4. Seamless Integration with Microsoft® Teams

Launching a presentation is as simple as selecting a file from OneDrive or SharePoint within the Teams interface. This tight integration reduces friction and ensures that content is always up to date and securely shared.

5. Optimized for Low Bandwidth

Unlike traditional screen sharing, PowerPoint Live uses significantly less bandwidth, making it ideal for remote workers in areas with limited connectivity. This ensures a smooth experience for both presenters and attendees.

GREAT! YOU’VE SOLVED YOUR PRESENTATION PROBLEM – OR HAVE YOU?<a href="https://info.lens.poly.com/blog/2025/10/29/ms-powerpoint-live-support#great-youve-solved-your-presentation-problem--or-have-you" class="hash-link" aria-label="Direct link to GREAT!
When joining a Microsoft® Teams meeting through Cloud Video Interop (CVI) solutions, organizations using standards-based video conferencing systems—such as SIP/H.323-based room setups—have encountered a limitation: if a presenter shares slides using Microsoft® PowerPoint® Live, CVI participants receive a black screen without notification or alternative content, resulting in the absence of shared material.

This disconnect created a significant barrier for hybrid collaboration, especially in enterprises that had invested heavily in traditional video conferencing infrastructure while transitioning to Microsoft Teams.

The good news? That gap has now been closed.

If you're responsible for delivering the best Teams-like experience to your workforce in a hybrid calling environment, you'll appreciate the latest advancements from HP Poly and Pexip working with Microsoft. Their support for Microsoft® PowerPoint® Live in Teams meetings via HP PrivateConnect and HP Poly CloudConnect, Cloud Video Interop (CVI) now allows users in CVI-enabled meeting rooms to see and interact with Microsoft® PowerPoint® Live content—just like native Teams participants. This crucial upgrade ensures that all users, no matter how they join a meeting, benefit from the same high-quality, interactive presentations, helping you maximize your organization's investments in both legacy video infrastructure and modern collaboration tools.

Conclusion

Microsoft® PowerPoint® Live is more than a presentation tool—it’s a productivity enhancer for the modern enterprise. By combining accessibility, interactivity, and seamless integration, it empowers knowledge workers to deliver impactful presentations that resonate across diverse teams and geographies.

Furthermore, the HP Poly PrivateConnect and HP Poly CloudConnect software significantly enhance the experience in a hybrid calling environment. By facilitating secure and reliable connectivity between traditional video conferencing systems and Microsoft® Teams meetings, PrivateConnect and CloudConnect ensures that all participants—regardless of their platform—enjoy consistent access to shared content, including Microsoft® PowerPoint® Live presentations. This seamless interoperability not only maximizes the value of existing video infrastructure but also supports inclusive collaboration, allowing remote and in-room attendees to fully engage with interactive presentations and real-time discussions.

Getting started with the European datacenter is straightforward. When you create your new Poly Lens account, you'll see an option to select Germany as your Datacenter region during the setup process. This one-time selection ensures data stays in the European datacenter from day one.

Setting up your new Germany Datacenter region Account is simple:

Go to Poly Lens at lens.poly.com and login via SSO provider to create a new Account.

Choose Germany as the region during the Account setup process.

Complete your new Account configuration with pre-configured compliance settings.

Start onboarding and deploying devices immediately by going to Manage > Register Devices.

If your organization operates across multiple regions, you can manage everything from a single view. The Manage All Accounts dashboard lets you access and filter between US and Germany Accounts seamlessly, giving you unified visibility without the complexity of switching between separate Accounts.

Transparency is built in at every level. Whether you're an Admin, Device Manager, or Guest user, you can view your US or Germany datacenter location and Account associations directly from your user profile.

For detailed setup instructions see Poly Lens Help - Datacenter.

Important Considerations

Network Preparation Required

To connect your devices to the European datacenter, you'll need to update your network configurations. Don't worry, this is a straightforward process, and we use the same ports and protocols you're already familiar with.

Before you begin deploying devices to the European datacenter:

Update your firewall rules to allow connections to the European IoT endpoint:
eu-lens-iot-prod-iothub-germanywestcentral.azure-devices.net

Configure your proxy servers (if applicable) to permit traffic to this new IoT endpoint.

Test connectivity from your network to ensure devices can reach the European datacenter.

Update any monitoring tools to include the European IoT endpoint for visibility.

Important: Devices need to be able to reach the European datacenter to register and for active management. Complete these network updates before you begin onboarding devices to ensure a smooth experience.

For more information see Poly Lens Help - Ports and Protocols.

Currently, there are no automated tools to migrate existing data from the US datacenter to the European datacenter. The European datacenter is designed for:

New Account creation for customers who want their data stored in Europe.

Organizations beginning their Poly Lens journey.

Customers who want to establish new European operations.

If you have an existing US-based Account and need European data residency, you'll need to create a new European Account. The good news? You can manage both Accounts from a single dashboard, giving you flexibility in how you manage multi-region deployments.

Resources for Your Team

We’re excited to unveil Poly Lens Desktop 2.3 for Windows, a release focused on empowering IT administrators with greater control, flexibility, and deployment efficiency. Whether you're managing large-scale rollouts or fine-tuning user experience across endpoints, this update delivers meaningful enhancements that simplify your workflows and strengthen enterprise readiness.

Proxy Configuration Support is here!

Poly Lens Desktop 2.3 Windows supports Proxy Configuration enabling IT administrators to route application traffic through HTTP(S) proxies using either system-wide or per-component configurations, offering flexibility to match enterprise network policies. Compatible with enterprise SSL inspection and certificate management, the proxy configuration support improves network visibility and control for IT administrators and facilitates troubleshooting and traffic analysis using proxy tools like Fiddler.

We’ve added support for minimized startup behavior, ensuring that Lens Desktop launches in the background even if the user is not logged in at the time of installation. This enhancement supports loginless workflows and improves user experience in shared or managed device environments.

Enhanced Docking Station Support and Key Updates – Public BETA

Following the Poly Lens Cloud support for HP Docks introduced in February 2025, this release represents another important step forward for our software solutions. With this update, end users can now manage their HP Docks directly from their desktops, eliminating the need to wait for IT assistance and improving productivity and flexibility in today’s hybrid work environment. This release now introduces limited compatibility with the latest HP Thunderbolt G6 Docks—including the 100W, 180W, and 280W models. With this update, users can easily customize and update their dock software when connected via USB.

Supported Dock Models:

HP Thunderbolt 4 100W G6 Dock

HP Thunderbolt 4 Ultra 180W G6 Dock

HP Thunderbolt 4 Ultra 280W G6 Dock

How it Works: If your dock is connected directly to a Windows PC via USB, you’ll have access to features like firmware updates, device settings, and the ability to rename your dock—all from within the Poly Lens Desktop app.

Limited Device Management: Docks onboarded by ITDM through Bulk or PIN code methods, will have restricted settings and device management in Poly Lens Desktop.

Please note that some users may encounter occasional display errors with device settings for supported docks.

Stay tuned for further improvements as we continue to improve your device management experience!

Unlocking Next-Level Cost Savings, Control, and User Experience

For IT decision makers in large, security-conscious organizations, the strategic imperative is clear: every platform you choose must deliver robust security, tangible cost efficiencies, and a user experience that drives productivity—without compromise. If your organization is relying on legacy Poly video conferencing infrastructure, now is the pivotal moment to consider the benefits of migrating to HP Poly PrivateConnect powered by Pexip.

Enhancing Video Infrastructure with Emphasis on Security and Cost Efficiency

HP Poly PrivateConnect’s latest release, Version 38, is purpose-built for enterprises where security and operational integrity are paramount. Unlike traditional solutions that rely heavily on resource-intensive transcoding, PrivateConnect leverages SIP media forwarding—enabling direct SIP-to-SIP calling. This innovation dramatically reduces the compute resources required for each call, translating to significant cost savings for your organization. Lower infrastructure burden means less hardware to maintain, reduced energy consumption, and a smaller attack surface—critical considerations for large enterprises.

Security remains at the heart of every PrivateConnect release. With V38, organizations can now apply classification labels not just to hosted meetings but also to gateway calls—mirroring best practices in information sensitivity and compliance. This granular control ensures that every interaction adheres to your organization’s security policies, alerting participants and administrators to the sensitivity of ongoing conversations. For multinational enterprises, the ability to support right-to-left language formats further underscores HP Poly’s commitment to inclusivity and compliance across global teams. As regulatory and privacy requirements grow more complex, having a platform that adapts to diverse linguistic and operational standards is non-negotiable.

As we continue to enhance our services and meet the evolving security requirements of our European customers, we're excited to announce the addition of dedicated European datacenter support for our Azure IoT Hub infrastructure.

The new European IoT Hub fully qualified domain name (FQDN) is:

We are now expanding to include European datacenter capabilities specifically to serve our security-conscious European customers who require data to remain within European jurisdiction, and European devices will be automatically routed to this regional hub for maximum security assurance and compliance. The addition of dedicated European IoT Hub support is designed to:

Address data sovereignty concerns for security-conscious European organizations

Enhance data residency compliance with European regulations

Reduce latency through geographically closer infrastructure within European borders

Provide enhanced data residency assurance for sensitive organizational data

Support continued reliability at enterprise scale within Europe

Empowering IT Management Across Windows and Mac OS

Let’s be honest—managing a fleet of audio and video devices across your organization can be a challenge, especially as you balance hybrid work, diverse hardware or operating systems, and the ever-present need for security and up-to-date firmware. That’s where Poly Lens Desktop steps in, now with version 2.2.0 for Mac (and, of course, previously released support for Windows users). If you’re an IT buyer looking for a single pane of glass to cover device management, policy control, and troubleshooting, this release deserves your attention.

Seamless Device Support for Today’s (and Tomorrow’s) Hardware

One of the biggest headaches for enterprise IT teams is keeping up with new devices. Poly Lens Desktop 2.2.0 for Mac adds support for the latest Poly Studio video bars (V12/V52/V72), a fresh lineup of HP webcams, and next-gen Voyager audio devices—from the sleek Poly Voyager Free 20 to the versatile Legend 30/50 and Poly Voyager Office Base. Whether your teams are decked out in meeting rooms or working from their kitchen tables, Poly Lens keeps everyone connected and IT in control.

Device Management Just Got Easier: Bluetooth® Direct

Say goodbye to the hassle of USB dongles just to tweak settings or update firmware. With Bluetooth® direct, IT and end users can now manage devices like the Poly Voyager Legend 30/50, Free 20, Free 60 Series, Surround 80/85, Focus 2, and the Voyager 4300 Series—no extra adapters required. Native Bluetooth connections mean faster updates, easier customizations, and less downtime. It’s the kind of convenience IT and end-users can both appreciate.

Tired of chasing down users for device updates? Poly Lens Desktop introduces Immediate Update policy deployment—automatically downloading and installing firmware and app updates, hands-free. It’s a game changer for IT teams with hundreds (or thousands) of endpoints across Windows and Mac OS environments. Set your policies once and forget the manual interventions—Poly Lens takes care of the rest.

When things go wrong, you need answers fast. Poly Lens Desktop now lets IT admins access and download logs from anywhere, making troubleshooting a breeze. No more waiting for end-users to send logs or decipher vague error messages, just swift, remote access to the data you need to keep your business running smoothly.

In an era where hybrid work is the norm and security risks are more sophisticated than ever, the demand for private, secure, and interoperable video conferencing solutions has reached new heights. At the forefront of addressing these needs is the strategic partnership between HP and Pexip—a collaboration that marks two years of innovation tailored to the modern workforce.

The Power of Partnership: HP Poly, and Pexip

Watch the video here.

When HP acquired Poly, it brought together world-class hardware with HP's expansive ecosystem. Now, combine that with Pexip’s secure and flexible video conferencing platform, and you get an end-to-end solution that doesn’t just meet enterprise expectations, it exceeds them.

Together, HP and Pexip deliver fully integrated video solutions for organizations across industries, including those with the most stringent data protection requirements. Whether it's a global enterprise or a government agency, users want a seamless experience across meeting platforms without compromising on security or functionality. That’s where this partnership shines.

Security-First

For organizations where data sovereignty and compliance are non-negotiable, HP Poly offers
PrivateConnect — a solution specifically designed for highly secure environments. With PrivateConnect, all video data and metadata remain within the organization’s own infrastructure, whether on premises or in a private cloud.

Yet, despite this high level of control, users don’t sacrifice experience. Pexip delivers a modern, intuitive interface that meets today’s expectations for clarity, ease-of-use, and accessibility. It’s proof that privacy and usability don’t have to be mutually exclusive.

Smarter Meetings Through AI

AI is no longer a futuristic add-on—it's a fundamental component of meeting equity and efficiency. HP and Pexip approach AI in complementary ways:

HP and Poly utilize AI to enhance visual and audio experiences—automatically framing speakers, eliminating background noise, and ensuring everyone has a seat at the virtual table.

Pexip integrates AI for accessibility and inclusivity—delivering real-time closed captions to reduce the barriers in global collaboration. We will soon deliver features like bilingual translation and speech-to-speech live translation will further breaking down these barriers. These capabilities are all available within a private, controlled environment, so you retain full control of your data.

These intelligent tools not only improve meetings for diverse, distributed teams but also reduce operational costs by minimizing the need for live translators and support staff.

Interoperability Without Compromise

Today's users might be booked in a Microsoft Teams meeting at 10 a.m., a Zoom call at 11, and a Google Meet at 2. Traditional video conferencing setups often force a fragmented experience—particularly in specialized room systems.

But now, with HP hardware and Poly CloudConnect platform, users can enjoy true cross-platform interoperability. Whether you're using Poly mode, Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR), Zoom Rooms, or Google Meet setups, Pexip ensures that you can join any meeting from any space—without sacrificing quality. This flexibility is invaluable. Enterprises no longer must choose between platform loyalty and user experience. With HP and Pexip, they get both.

A Unified Experience, One Motion Deployment

One of the most significant advantages of the HP-Pexip partnership is the simplicity of deployment. Instead of juggling multiple vendors and integration challenges, customers receive a streamlined, unified solution from a single provider. This "one motion" approach drastically reduces complexity, time-to-deploy, and long-term maintenance headaches.

For IT administrators and procurement teams, this is more than just convenient, it’s strategic.

Final Thoughts

The future of work demands that video conferencing solutions be secure, private, and universally accessible. HP and Pexip are proving that it’s not only possible but practical to deliver such a solution—one that meets the needs of modern enterprises without compromise.

If you’re evaluating your video collaboration stack, consider this: are you empowering your users with flexibility and protecting your data with confidence? If not, it might be time to take a closer look at what HP and Pexip have built—together.

The latest release of the Poly Lens Room app brings three new enhancements designed to simplify conference room management, expand compatibility, and empower IT administrators with greater control and flexibility. Whether you are managing a few meeting spaces or hundreds, Poly Lens Room 1.12.20 delivers the tools you need to streamline operations and elevate the in-room experience.

Remote Distribution and Bulk Onboarding

For IT administrators who already have multiple PC-based conference rooms deployed and need an effortless way to onboard and manage them, the new bulk onboarding capabilities will save them time and money. Gone are the days of visiting each room individually to deploy the Poly Lens Room app and onboard the rooms into Poly Lens cloud one by one.

With this release, IT admins can now create and apply a client token and input their provider (Microsoft Teams or Zoom) in a simple script. Using your favorite software deployment tool, the client token allows IT admins to remotely distribute, silently install and automatically bulk onboard the Poly Lens Room app on multiple conference PCs at once—no need to visit each room individually. This will automatically link all your Poly devices in your conference room to your Poly Lens Account.

For details on the bulk onboarding process, see Poly Lens help.

Device Policy Support

Poly Lens Room now enables the ability for IT admins to manage their device settings and software updates via Individual, Site and Account level policies within Poly Lens cloud. The ability to use the hierarchy of policy for Poly devices connected in a PC-based conference room offers centralized, cloud-based device management that enhances IT efficiency. It enables secure, scalable control of Poly devices, supports remote updates, enforces consistent configurations, and provides real-time analytics—reducing downtime, simplifying administration, and improving collaboration across distributed environments.

Expanded Camera Control with 3rd-Party Support

One of the most exciting additions is basic in-room PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) control support for any third-party camera connected to supported HP compute and Poly Touch Controllers. By leveraging standard UVC commands, Poly Lens Room now enables seamless integration with a broader range of camera hardware—giving organizations more flexibility in how they equip their meeting rooms.

Third-party cameras are now manageable via the HP Camera Control app, offering a single interface for camera adjustments. This means users can enjoy consistent, intuitive control regardless of the camera brand, reducing training time and improving meeting efficiency.
