Introducing Poly Lens Desktop 2.2 - Enhancements for IT Administrators and Buyers

Revolutionizing Device Management with
Poly Lens Desktop 2.2

As technology continues to evolve, the need for more efficient and streamlined device management solutions becomes increasingly crucial. We are excited to announce the release of Poly Lens Desktop 2.2 for Windows, a significant update that introduces new features specially designed to meet the needs of IT administrators and buyers.

Bluetooth® Direct Connectivity

One of the most anticipated features of Poly Lens Desktop 2.2 is the support for Bluetooth® direct connectivity for device management and Zoom Call Control on our top-selling Poly Voyager Focus 2 and Poly Voyager 4300 Series. This enhancement allows users to customize settings, update their devices, and manage Zoom calls natively via Bluetooth, eliminating the need for a USB adapter. This not only simplifies the setup process but also ensures seamless connectivity, enhancing the overall user experience.

Efficient Policy Management

Poly Lens Desktop 2.2 introduces a groundbreaking feature for Immediate update policy deployment on Poly Lens Cloud. This feature automates device software updates and Poly Lens Desktop updates, ensuring that they are downloaded and installed automatically for end-users. Before updates occur, Poly Lens will make sure the end-user is not in a call and the battery is sufficient in their device to support the update so an end-user meeting is not disrupted during their workday. If the update is delayed based on these checks, Poly Lens will check again at the next Poly Lens Desktop polling cycle which is four hours. This efficiency ensures that users always have the latest updates, minimizing downtime and enhancing productivity without requiring manual intervention.

Enhanced Log Accessibility

For IT administrators, Poly Lens Desktop 2.2 adds support for downloading and retrieving Poly Lens Desktop App logs. This capability offers valuable insights into device performance and issues, aiding in troubleshooting and allowing IT teams to resolve problems quickly and effectively.

Language Localization

Expanding our global reach, Poly Lens Desktop 2.2 now includes language localization support for Português (Portuguese), русский (Russian), and Español (Spanish). This ensures that users in diverse regions can navigate and use the app in their preferred language, enhancing user satisfaction and accessibility.

Additional Features

  • Rename Device: Users can now rename their devices, including Voyager Free 60 series, Voyager Free 20, Voyager Surround 80/85, and Voyager Legend 30/50.
  • New Settings Support: Added support for close conversation limiting and ANC/transparency mode for various Voyager and Studio models.
  • New Features for Studio V12: Enhanced support for 802.1x LAN, Proxy Server, Simple Certificate Enrollment Protocol (SCEP), and remote logging.

Quality Improvements Addressing Customer Needs

Poly Lens Desktop 2.2 also introduces several quality improvements that directly address top customer needs, including:

  • Enhanced sound clarity and noise reduction for a more immersive audio experience.
  • Improved battery life management to maximize usage time.
  • Refined user interface for easier navigation and more intuitive controls.
