Following the successful rollout of Azure IoT Hub 4, we're continuing to expand our Poly Lens infrastructure to meet the growing demands of our IoT ecosystem. We're excited to announce the addition of Azure IoT Hubs 5 and 6, which will go live on February 8th, 2026.
The new IoT Hub fully qualified domain names (FQDNs) are:
- lens-iot-prod-iothub5-eastus2.azure-devices.net
- lens-iot-prod-iothub6-eastus2.azure-devices.net
Why We're Expanding
To support continued growth and maintain service quality, we're adding IoT Hubs 5 and 6 to our infrastructure. These additional hubs will improve performance, strengthen redundancy, and ensure reliable device connectivity as our ecosystem scales. Devices will be automatically distributed across all six active hubs for optimal efficiency.
Action Required: Update Security Configurations by February 8th, 2026
To ensure your devices stay connected and operational, you must update your network security settings to include the new IoT Hub 5 and 6 endpoints. Poly Lens Cloud will be operating with six active IoT Hubs, and devices will be automatically distributed across all of them for maximum efficiency.
IMPORTANT: Devices that cannot reach these new IoT hubs may lose connectivity with Poly Lens cloud services.
