Version 1.12.20

What’s New

  • Basic in-room PTZ control support for any 3rd-party camera connected to supported HP compute and Poly touch controller via standard UVC commands.
    • In-room camera controls for these 3rd-party cameras can be now managed through HP Camera Control app.
  • Remotely install and Bulk Onboard the Poly Lens Room.
    • IT admins can now remotely install and bulk onboard the Poly Lens Room app on multiple conference PCs at once—no need to visit each room individually.
    • Create and apply a client token, input your provider (Microsoft Teams or Zoom) and automatically link devices to your Poly Lens Account.
    • The Poly Lens Room app will install silently, and devices appear in your Poly Lens cloud for management. Please see PC-Based Room System Devices for more details.

Fixed Issues

  • The HP Camera Control app now supports two identical Poly cameras connected simultaneously.
  • PTZ control for the secondary Poly Studio E70 camera now works when two Studio E70’s are connected to the Poly Studio Base Kit G9 Plus.

Known Issues

  • The PTZ controls only work when the Tracking Mode is set to Off.

  • To use the People Count feature, enable the Participant Count and a Tracking Mode setting for supported cameras. Additionally, the maximum zoom level is available only when Tracking Mode is set to On.

  • There are intermittent issues in downloading the Poly Studio E60 logs.

  • If a Poly Studio Base Kit G9 Plus for Microsoft Teams is reset using the USB Recovery Key, Poly Lens Room and HP Camera Control will be reinstalled. The Reset my PC option will not restore these apps unless the original factory image is used. For full restoration, use the USB Key Recovery method.
