Earlier this year, we announced the launch of Azure IoT Hub 3 as part of our effort to support the growing scale and demand of our IoT ecosystem. As adoption continues to accelerate, we’re taking another big step in our infrastructure evolution. We’re excited to announce the addition of Azure IoT Hub 4, which will go live on September 15th, 2025.
The new IoT Hub fully qualified domain name (FQDN) is:
lens-iot-prod-iothub4-eastus2.azure-devices.net
Why We're Expanding Again
As usage expands across our global customer base, so must our infrastructure. The addition of IoT Hub 4 is designed to:
- Improve performance under increasing workloads
- Enhance redundancy and fault tolerance
- Ensure optimal distribution of device traffic
- Support continued reliability at enterprise scale
We are now operating with four active IoT Hubs, and devices will be automatically distributed across all of them for maximum efficiency.
Action Required: Update Security Configurations by September 15th, 2025
To ensure your devices stay connected and operational, you must update your network security settings to include the new IoT Hub 4 endpoint. Devices that cannot reach this new hub may lose connectivity with Poly Lens cloud services.
