Microsoft Entra ID

The Microsoft Entra ID option allows an admin to integrate services, to automatically invite and allow access to new Poly Lens Desktop users into an Account upon login.

Supported Services

Currently the Integrations feature supports the following services:

  • Microsoft Office 365

Allow Access for Integrations

  1. Go to the Admin menu icon Admin menu > Integrations.
  2. Select Microsoft Entra ID from the side tabs.
  3. Select Allow Access.
  4. Select Accept to confirm access.
    Note: Now at this point the Microsoft Domain is now linked to this Account. Each new user from this Domain will automatically give access to this Account when they log in for the first time on Poly Lens Desktop.

For a New User on Poly Lens Desktop using Single Sign On

The following is the procedure for a user within the domain in the procedure above and logs into Poly Lens Desktop for the first time.
Note: For a Loginless instance of Poly Lens Desktop, the end user will automatically be signed in and not have the option to log out.

  1. The user opens Poly Lens Desktop.
  2. Log in to Poly Lens Desktop for the first time.
    Note: The User does not have to Sign up and create an account.
  3. Select Sign in with Microsoft.
  4. Enter your email address to sign into your Microsoft SSO account and select Next.
  5. Enter your password and select Sign in.
  6. Select Accept to confirm access.
  7. Select Accept to allow Poly Lens Desktop access to your Poly account.
  8. Now this user is connected to the Poly Lens Account that was set up in the previous process above.
